The ARMI Story
Tara Armstrong » Regional Director CMCA® AMS®
Tara Armstrong joined the ARMI team in 2023. A native of Western Pennsylvania, Tara came to Virginia after working in real estate on the coast in Wilmington, North Carolina for over a decade. She holds both the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation with the Community Association Managers International Certification Board and the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation with Community Associations Institute where she has volunteered her time to legislative action committees and the local chapter. Tara is a proud graduate of The University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Trey Austin » Principal Broker - Warrenton Office
Trey Austin obtained his Real Estate license in 1998 and began working for ARMI full time in 2003. Trey became a Certified Manager of Community Associations in 2004 and obtained his Real Estate Broker’s license 2008. As an active member in the community, he has served on several housing related non-profits boards and committees, community business boards, and is an active member and Past President of The Rotary Club of Warrenton.
Trey is a Circuit Court Certified Expert witness in the field and regularly consults on building and development projects. Trey is a proud Alumni of James Madison University.

Marci Flis » Residential Finance Manager
Marci joined ARMI in September 2005 as a receptionist and moved into a finance role six months later where she has supported the property management team ever since. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, boating, and working her small home farm where she has a garden and keeps chickens.
